Mr Ng Choon Jin participated in IFAC Small and Medium Practices Committee (SMP) Forum in Beijing, China

On 28 October 2009, Mr Ng Choon Jin represented S.L.NG & ASSOCIATES to participate in IFAC Small and Medium Practices Committee (SMP) Forum held in Beijing, China. This Forum was hosted by IFAC and Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA). This Forum was also participated by council members of CAS International.

During the Forum, the following main discussion points were highlighted:-

• - Ensuring International Standards are relevant to SMPs/SMEs
• - SMPs adapting to the economic turbulence and laying foundation for sustainable growth
• - IFAC Support for SMPs
• - Role of SMPs in providing business support to SMEs
