Mr Ng Choon Jin spoke at ACCA seminar at Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam

On 8th October 2009, Mr Ng Choon Jin in collaboration with ACCA and CAS International has jointly conducted a seminar at Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam on ISQC 1.

The topic of the seminar was “Introduction to International Standards of Quality Control 1 (ISQC 1)” ISQC 1 was issued by IFAC in 1 January 2005 and later was redrafted on 1 January 2010. Malaysia has adopted ISQC 1 on 1 July 2006. Since then, many road shows were conducted by MIA to create an awareness of the importance of implementation of ISQC 1 to the profession and public.

ISQC 1 is about the Firm establishing basic principles and essential procedures and to provide guidance regarding a firm’s responsibilities for system of quality control.

Mr Ng Choon Jin delivered on the 6 fundamental elements of ISQC 1 to the Vietnamese professionals.
